AI & the Arts
How to meaningfully, ethically, and responsibly engage with AI in the Arts?
Touchstone and Glitch Theatre invite you to join us for an Industry Townhall to discuss AI and Theatre/Performance Arts.
Moderated by Adam Grant Warren, Co-Artistic Director, Glitch Theatre
PANEL:
- Milton Lim
- Cole Lewis
- Jerrold McGrath
- David Mesiha
- Michael Wheeler
- Quelemia Sparrow (Research Fellowship focused on AI and Indigenous Data Sovereignty, Keynote Address PUSH 2026: Indigenous Futurism)
Our panelists bring a range of artistic, research, and cultural perspectives on AI, including experiences incorporating AI into their practices and research into its implications for the arts. Each panelist has also brought questions to help shape the conversation.
Neither Adam, Touchstone, nor Glitch are experts on this subject. We’re grateful for the opportunity to listen and learn alongside our panelists and fellow artists and arts workers.
Our hope is to have a frank and productive conversation, while holding space for differing points of view and any feelings that might come up for folks during the discussion. What we’re really trying to do is consider that AI is here and that it isn’t going anywhere, so how are artists engaging and/or grappling with it?
Some panelists will be joining us virtually from across the country and appearing on the big screen, but we wanted to make this a live gathering. It felt important to be in the room together.
If you absolutely need a Zoom link, please let us know on the RSVP form.
And please share event with industry peers. Thank you!
