You are foundational to ensuring Touchstone’s mission to support and develop new and diverse Canadian voices continues to succeed. By donating, you will be investing directly in bringing a new Canadian work to life through various streams including residencies, prizes, commissions, and productions.
Programs you can contribute to:
- New Works General | A fund dedicated to supporting Canadian voices throughout the Touchstone season. Funds here are applied to new play commissions, workshops and dramaturgical development.
- Flying Start | A two-year juried program supporting an emerging, underrepresented playwright or deviser(s) through the development of a new work culminating in a staged production as part of Touchstone’s mainstage season.
- David King Prize | A $3,000 cash prize awarded yearly by a jury for the development or production of a new comedic work.
In return for your support, all donors receive:
- A charitable tax receipt
- Acknowledgement in our house programmes and website
- Exclusive news and updates on new plays considered for programming
- Invitations to donor-only online readings of work-in-development
